Who will win the 2010 ANZ Championship - Part 6
January 8th 2010 10:37
Central Pulse may be able to improve on their bottom of the ladder performances since the ANZ Championship started two years ago, with the addition of a few new players, but there's no way they could win the 2010 title.
They've been able to entice Ama Abgeze (Fever 2008, Vixens 2009) and Jane Altschwager (Thunderbirds, 2009), two good players, to join the Pulse but they are not talented enough to change the fortunes of the Pulse right around.
Other new players for the Pulse include Katrina Grant (Steel 2008 and 2009), Alanah Cassidy and Daya Pritchard.
Last year, the Central Pulse lost highly talented defender Sonia Mkoloma and Kahurangi Waititi.
The Pulse need to be to attract some big name players and stay as a team for a couple of seasons before they could be considered as title contenders in the ANZ Championship.
