The three-day SOPA Cup starts this Friday with Swifts vs Vixens and Firebirds vs Thunderbirds. These two games are sure to be exciting and a great lead-in to the ANZ Championship later this month.
Once again, the coverage of this event has been poor. Here it is Wednesday night, and there's been little news about the event. On the Netball Australia and Netball NSW websites there is only limited details published.
How many games will be played? Who is playing Saturday? Who is playing Sunday? What is the format of the competition? Who is playing? What is the SOPA Cup? What does it stand for? Will it be televised live on Channel 10 or One? When is the final? What's the latest news on the injured senior squad members of the Australian Netball Diamonds? Will they be playing in their respective teams this weekend?
I'm a huge netball fan and want to be able to plan my weekend around the netball. If I had notice I would have taken holidays to attend the SOPA Cup. Yet days out and I still don't know if I can watch the games on t.v.
