Round 9 Preview: Mystics vs Pulse
May 16th 2010 00:35
The improved Mystics team should dominate tomorrow night's clash against the Central Pulse.
The Pulse remains winless despite playing their best game against the Magic last week and coming fairly close to a major upset.
The Mystics also had an impressive game last week, beating the Southern Steel in a close battle.
Therefore, both teams will be coming into the game full of confidence.
The Mystics will be looking for a large win to increase their percentage and top four chances.
These mid-season rounds are really showing the strength of the Australian sides; there's really hard-fought battles between the Australian teams whereas with the New Zealand games, it's a lot more one-sided.
This is maybe more proof that the ANZ Championship needs to be changed, so every side plays the other teams twice instead of the current rules where the New Zealand teams only play the Aussie sides once a season, giving them an advantage.
