Monday night netty definitely delivered tonight with the first game a close clash between New Zealand's top two teams, the Waikato/Bay of Plenty Magic and the Northern Mystics.
It was within just a few goals for the entire 60 minutes with only one goal in it in the last three minutes of play.
Temepara George and Althea Byfield was impressive for the Mystics as was Casey Williams and Irene van Dyk for the Magic.
The young and lesser experienced Mystics shooters couldn't convert in the crucial moments, resulting in Magic taking the win 49-46 and therefore second place on the ladder, after the undefeated NSW Swifts.
