Round 6 Result: Thunderbirds' winning margin a surprise

April 29th 2010 10:40
I'm sure it was a surprise to many when the Adelaide Thunderbirds had such a big win over the West Coast Fever on Monday night.
A lot of people would have expected the Thunderbirds to win but not by 20 goals with the final score 57-37 in Perth.
The young West Coast Fever side are normally competitive with the top teams but this year they seem to be struggling.
Fever were never in the game with goal shooter Caitlin Bassett even benched during the match.
Thunderbirds shooter Carla Borrego continues to be impressive, shooting 42 goals from 46 attempts.
