As expected the Mystics were just too strong for the Canterbury Tactix, beating them on Saturday 59-50.
The Tactix suffered an early blow to the game with Chelsea Pitman benched with a knee injury after just five minutes of play.
Mystics shooters Cathrine Latu and Maria Tutaia were accurate under the post and defenders Joline Henry and Althea Byfield outclassed their Tactix opponents.
Temepara George and Jenny-May Coffin were also solid in the midcourt. This experienced line-up was just too good for the Tactix.
