Bec 1Round 2 Result: Vixens dominate the Firebirds

The Melbourne Vixens dominated their match against the Queensland Firebirds in Melbourne yesterday, winning 53-46.
Although the Vixens gave away a lot of possession and shooting accuracy was less than perfect, they were able to maintain their lead right throughout the game.
Bianca Chatfield's incredible defence left Firebirds shooter Romelda Aiken unable to convert in her normal fashion, missing a few shots right in front of the post.
Aiken is also struggling to form a partnership with new recruit Natalie Medhurst, former Adelaide Thunderbirds player.
Renae Hallinan also put in an impressive performance for the Vixens.
