Round 2 Result: Mystics too strong for Pulse
March 29th 2010 04:24
As expected the Northern Mystics were too strong for the Central Pulse. Pulse came out strong but were unable to keep this intensity for the whole four quarters.
Mystics shooters Cathrine Latu and Maria Tutaia had great games with Tutaia showing her skills at long-range shooting.
Althea Byfield also had an impressive game as did Pulse's goal keeper Ama Agbeze, former Melbourne Vixen.
Pulse was let down by inaccuate shooting as captain Jane Altschwager still finds her feet in her new side.
Altschwager and Paula Griffin still have a lot of work to do to learn each other's games and become a great shooting combination.
Mystics took out the game 61-50.
