Round 14 Result: NSW Swifts make history

June 22nd 2010 14:28
In the final game of the home and away season of the ANZ Championship on Monday night, the NSW Swifts made history, being the first ever team in the championship to remain undefeated going into the finals.
The Swifts were all class and showed once again whose likely to win the 2010 title.
Coming up against the Southern Steel, who could have finished in second, third or fourth position depending on this game, the Swifts beamed with confidence.
With two teams making the finals series, one could have expected this game to be close, but the Swifts easily took the win, beating the Steel 56-38.

Swifts Rebecca Bulley was announced player of the year.
