Round 14 Preview: Pulse vs Vixens
June 20th 2010 10:40
Surely, the Melbourne Vixens can turn around their uncharacteristic losing steak tomorrow night and beat the Central Pulse.
The Pulse received the wooden spoon last year and may finished in ninth position for the first time this season so they would be hoping for a close game with the Vixens.
The Melbourne side won the ANZ Championship last year and was looking good at the start of this year, winning their first five games. Then injury struck the team yet again with midcourter Natasha Chokljat out for many weeks, starting the Vixens losing streak.
Despite her return, the Vixens have yet to score a win in two months of competition.
They will be desperate to create some pride back in their team and beat the Pulse fairly convincingly for what will be their last game for 2010.
