Round 14 Preview: Magic vs Thunderbirds
June 18th 2010 08:43
With the way the Waikato/Bay of Plenty Magic are playing of late, one would have to expect the second-placed Adelaide Thunderbirds would win tomorrow's clash in New Zealand.
The Magic would be desperate for the win and a big win as their finals hopes are in jeopardy.
The Magic and the Steel, both on 16 points, have tough matches this weekend, which is the last round of the season.
Although the Queensland Firebirds are just two points behind on 14, they have a better percentage than both the Magic and the Steel. Of these three teams, the Magic have the worst percentage. The Firebirds have the easier match this weekend, coming up against the West Coast Fever.
The Thunderbirds, on the other hand, will be hoping to cement second position on the ladder, giving them two chances to make the grand final in July.
With everything on the line, tomorrow's game should be a real thriller.
