Round 14 Preview: Fever vs Firebirds
June 18th 2010 08:52
Sunday's game against the West Coast Fever in Perth is a must-win match if the Queensland Firebirds have any chance of making their first ever finals series.
This exact same match up last year resulted in the Firebirds just missing out on the finals by three goals despite them winning the game.
You can expect them to be firing so this doesn't happen again. They are coming off a huge win, beating the Canterbury Tactix by a massive 43 goals.
But, you can never discount the West Coast Fever, who beat premiers Melbourne Vixens this year and the 2008 premiers NSW Swifts last year.
With so much on the line, I think you can expect a big win by the Queensland Firebirds.
