The Melbourne Vixens vs NSW Swifts clash in Melbourne this afternoon will be huge for a number of reasons.
Firstly, the NSW Swifts will want to keep their unbeaten record in tact, to beat the Vixens record of number of consecutive wins. If Swifts win, it will be their 12th straight win and a new ANZ Championship record.
The VIxens will want to end the season with some pride in tact by stopping their uncharacteristic losing streak.
This afternoon's game will also be Swifts captain Catherine Cox's 200th game in the national league. The only other netballer to achieve such a milestone is Vixens co-captain and Australian Diamonds captain Sharelle McMahon.
Hopefully, the Vixens can find some of their form to make today's game an absolute thriller, what normally happens when Victoria and NSW meet in netball.
The Vixens will be without Julie Corletto while the Swifts are missing Vanessa Ware, both to knee injuries.
