Round 12 Result: Magic's form continues to slip

One could expect that the NSW Swifts would have won on Monday night in Sydney, but you would have thought that the Waikato/Bay of Plenty Magic, New Zealand's top team, would have been more competitive.
It was all one way traffic, with the Swifts taking control of the match, and the win 60-43.
It was even more impressive considering the Swifts were without midcourter Vanessa Ware who injured her knee during training last week. This was the Magic's third straight loss.
This win has cemented the minor premiership for the NSW Swifts, being six points and three more wins ahead of the second-placed Adelaide Thunderbirds, and only two rounds to go.
The Swifts defeated the Magic in 2008 to win the inaugural ANZ Championship title.
