Round 11 Result: Predictable result for Fever/Pulse game
May 31st 2010 12:59
The West Coast Fever's win over the Central Pulse in Perth tonight was a predictable outcome.
With the Pulse finally coming into some form, it was expected that the game would be a lot more competitive, after the Pulse scored their first win of the season last weekend against the Canterbury Tactix, took the Northern Mystics into extra time the week prior and had a good game against the New Zealand's top team, the Waikato/Bay of Plenty Magic, the week before.
But, unfortunately, their performance lacked the same spark.
The Fever dominated right throughout the match, reaching their highest ever score, and taking their third win of the season 63-45.
The positive news for the Pulse from this game is that they are in real contention not to get the wooden spoon for the first time in ANZ Championship history. There is only one goal difference separating the Pulse and the Tactix.
