May 28th 2010 08:56
The Adelaide Thunderbirds will be hoping to improve their percentage on Sunday when they take on the ninth positioned Canterbury Tactix.
The Tactix have had a horror season this week and will be trying not to get the wooden spoon for the first time.
They are on even points as the Central Pulse but are only ahead of the Pulse on the points ladder due to their winning percentage.
The Thunderbirds have a real chance to get into second place as the Magic lost to the Southern Steel last weekend and have tough matches against the Queensland Firebirds, the Thunderbirds, and the NSW Swifts coming up. They are only two points ahead of the Thunderbirds at the start of round 11.
The top two teams at the end of the home and away season gets two chances to make the 2010 ANZ Championship final.
