Round 10 Result: Swifts too good for Fever
May 26th 2010 08:31
As expected, the NSW Swifts were able to defeat the West Coast Fever on Monday night.
Although the Fever kept fighting, the Swifts left with a 61-52 win in Perth.
It was a great way to celebrate captain Catherine Cox's 34th birthday.
Sonia Mkoloma continued her fine form, picking up a number of intercepts.
The Swifts have now beaten the Melbourne Vixens record for the number of consecutive wins in the ANZ Championship.
They will be hoping to continue their unbeaten record as they travel again this weekend, this time to Auckland to take on the Northern Mystics who will be looking for a win to keep their first finals chances alive.
