Round 10 Result: Pulse gets first win
May 23rd 2010 11:32
It took 10 games for the Central Pulse to score their first win this season but they played a very solid game against the Canterbury Tactix yesterday.
The Pulse took the early lead and despite the Tactix eating into the lead, the Pulse maintained their composure and were deserving winners.
They took the game out in a thriller 45-43 and although they are still on the bottom of the ladder they're only about one per cent behind the Tactix.
All players were impressive for the Pulse but in particular the return of Katrina Grant was critical to the Pulse's win.
Paula Griffin was accurate under the post, helping to cement the win.
