The 'Battle of the Birds' on Sunday afternoon should be a real thriller as both teams try to cement a top four position.
The Adelaide Thunderbirds have won every encounter against the Queensland Firebirds but the Queensland side are starting to become a real title contender.
If the Firebirds win, they could push the Melbourne Vixens out of the top four.
With both teams having a target shooter, I think this game will come down to the performances of the goal attacks; Natalie Medhurst for the Firebirds coming up against her old team mate Kate Beveridge for the Thunderbirds.
It will also be a defensive battle with the Thunderbirds' Geva Mentor and Mo`onia Gerrard coming into some great form. The Firebirds' Laura Geitz is second in the competition for defensive rebounds but is very costly in the penalty count, leading the championship on this statistic.
I think the Thunderbirds might take the win in a close battle. It could even go into extra time.
