The last game on Sunday between the Southern Steel and West Coast Fever should also be a close game.
The Fever is an up-and-coming Australian team with many of the young players developing into the next generation of top netballers.
Southern Steel should have a better season this year with the addition of Leana de Bruin (Magic 2008 and 2009) and the return of Megan Dehn, who played for the Steel in 2008.
They have also been able to retain talented players such as Liana Barrett-Chase, Sheryl Scanlan and Daneka Wipiiti and have the strong home ground advantage in this weekend's match-up.
Invercargill is very passionate about their team, normally making a lot of noise for the Steel in the arena, making it difficult for their opponents.
With this in mind, I tip the Southern Steel to beat the West Coast Fever on Sunday.
