The Tactix/Pulse result was the most predictable of round one of the 2010 ANZ Championship.
Australian import Jane Altschwager captained her new team, Central Pulse, for the first time but was unable to come away with the win, losing to Tactix 54-48.
Tactix led most of the way, at one point, having a 12-goal unanswered run, but the typical never-say-die attitute of the Pulse kept them in the game.
In fact Pulse won the final quarter 18-7 but left their run too late.
