Little change to final four
June 22nd 2010 14:41
With the 2010 home and away season now over for the ANZ Championship, there was little difference to the top four.
For the first time ever, defending premiers the Melbourne Vixens didn't make the finals series, allowing the 2008 premiers the NSW Swifts to once again contest the finals.
But the other three teams remained the same, just in different positions.
Grand finalists from last year, the Adelaide Thunderbirds, finished in second spot whereas the Waikato/Bay of Plenty Magic finished in that position last year. In 2010, the Magic are in third spot, just ahead of the Southern Steel, who finished in fourth position in both 2009 and 2010.
Look out in the next couple of days for previews of this weekend's finals matches.
