ANZ Championship goes from strength to strength
March 14th 2010 07:29
Each year the ANZ Championship goes from strength from strength as many attempts are made to increase the level of coverage of netball as well as to encourage people to take up this wonderful sport.
The ANZ Championship has undergone a facelift recently, giving viewers a lot of ways to get involved with the sport. There's player profiles, information about the 10 teams, live scoring and plenty more.
The Melbourne Vixens should be commended on their attempts to increase the level of involvement in netball.
Last year, they introduced a Vixens anthem, and have continued with some new and exciting aspects to their team this year.
They will unveil an ANZ Championship flag at their first game against Magic next Monday. There's also an opportunity to join their cheer squad. Hopefully, by adding some new features each year, more and more people will get involved in this brilliant sport.
It's less than a week away until the first centre pass, let's hope for another exciting and close ANZ Championship.
